Am I right in thinking that last year there were not nearly as many people biking in their suits to work? Really struck yesterday as I rode in to work how many riders I saw in business attire. Marks a cultural and attitude change in the City towards biking. Awesome.
Peter- it’s just my observation, but yes, I am seeing a lot more people riding dressed nicely in normal clothes and/or business attire. Yes, we are finally seeing a culture/attitude shift towards what it riding a bike – be it for transport, recreation, fitness, work or any reason you can think of. I’m seeing more people on bicycles every day. It’s beautiful. Can’t. Wait. For. Citibike. It’s going to be the tipping point.
Ah, yes! ™The Cars of Central Park!
